Lohika built complex, cross-domain, third-party integrations essential for our client’s business


In their continual effort to provide the best workspace technology, our client needed to integrate their offering with several popular workspace tools. These integrations were needed to provide seamless orchestration for their end users. Based on UX research and customer requests, they built a multi-year backlog for this strategic initiative, but lacked the necessary expertise to build integrations across several cross-domain tools and technologies.

They also lacked the capacity to constantly scale and manage them. This client is well-known for their strong workspace culture, which they consider to be foundational to their overall success. They were looking for a partner who could offer not just the right skills, but also be culturally aligned in their engineering effort.


Headquartered in the Bay Area, our client is a growth-stage technology company and a leading teamwork management solution provider. Their product is trusted by millions of users in organizations globally, across industries both large and small, public and private. It is used to manage everything from product launches to sales pipelines, and to orchestrate workflows from the smallest of projects to large strategic initiatives.


Based on strong recommendations by Lohika clients, the client approached us with a clear initial engagement scope to integrate with Salesforce, which was their top priority. Our engagement started in May 2019, when the Lohika team designed and implemented a native Salesforce integration.

The integration allowed teams working in Salesforce to collaborate seamlessly with the teams working in the client’s product. The implementation required deep expertise in modern Salesforce technologies and involved a front-end plugin implemented using the Salesforce Lightning framework. The backend implementation used Salesforce’s Apex and our client’s API. Lohika also handled the SFDC package creation and security review process. The plugin is available on the SFDC AppExchange marketplace.

The Lohika team also built integrations with well-known business intelligence and analytics platforms, such as a Tableau integration using Node.js backend. We also built an MPA frontend and a PowerBI integration leveraging Microsoft PowerQuery. The Tableau and PowerBI integrations have been released to production.

Throughout, Lohika ensured the highest quality deliverables by automating all UI and back-end validation and helped validate the client’s API functionality when necessary. The Lohika team continues to strive for excellence in expanding the client’s integrations to popular enterprise collaboration, design, and agile/scrum tools.
