The San-Francisco Engineering Leadership Community Summit

January 22, 2019

The discovery that leadership and learning are indispensable to one another is what has driven the San Francisco Engineering Leadership Community (SFELC) to its current success. In the spirit of leadership, Lohika is proud to be one of the gold sponsors at the first annual SFELC Summit taking place on the 24th of January 2019.

SFELC started with one engineering leader, reaching out to other engineering leaders, hungry for learning and connection. Today, 3 years and 24 events later, their mission remains the same; to connect the world’s engineering leaders and help evolve the way leadership is implemented in the tech industry.

We at Lohika agree that although most problems we face in the industry have been solved by others in the community, what’s missing is the connection. This premium Summit, highly curated for all kinds of engineering leaders, will provide a platform where they can learn from each other’s experiences, share and connect over talks and workshops from some of the top leaders at companies such as Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Slack, Uber, Gusto and more.

The speaker lineup includes a myriad of engineering thought leaders as well as seasoned entrepreneurs and book authors who will discuss topics ranging from leading infrastructure engineering teams to everything you need to know while transitioning from engineering leadership to product leadership. For those who prefer a hands-on experience, there will be two hand-picked and highly curated workshops delivered by the real experts and that will help hone your soft skills.

With the aim to continue celebrating and advocating for great leadership in engineering, the community will nominate and vote for their most inspiring leadership stories who will be recognized at an award ceremony taking place later in the day.

If you’re an engineering manager or leader you probably don’t want to miss this. Register now at  and join over 400 other engineering leaders.

We hope to see you there!
